Green City

After only spending a couple hours walking around Seattle, you can see and feel the health in this city. All of the business are promoting a good cause and everything is organic here. It makes me so happy to see a city that focuses so much on keeping Mother Nature happy and healthy, good on ya, Seattle!! Now time for a little BBQ with my host and long time buddy, Brian Fisher.

Recycling in Seattle!!!

Why is it Seattle has bins for composting and recycling in public and the rest of the world doesn't??? Take a stand ppl!! You get fined here if you're a business owner and they find too much "food" in your waste basket, have to put it in the green compost bin. EVERY city in the worlds needs this...

Ground in Seattle

Just landed in Seattle and had a blast on the 6 hour flight here. Met a great couple who I was sitting next to, Chris andKelly and they are on one of their annual honeymoons to a lovely place. They are going on a week long trip in Alaska and then spending another week on a cruise in the beautiful North Pacific. They met at the VA and Kelly was so nice to buy Chris a coffee from the vendors outside (who sell the best non-Starbucks coffee in Philly) overall, a great couple who is about to embark on a great journey and see the beautiful lands of Alaska! Have a great trip and they might join me on my journey....

City of Bro Love.

Just arrived in the city of brotherly love and I can feel the love. Met a nice lady, Mary, on the plane and we had a great conversation about life on the way over. She is going to see her son in Huston and to meet her new grandchildren. Have about a 30 minute layover and then on my way to Seattle and take inventory on the horse (bike).

And we're off!

It's EARLY! The birds are still sleeping, but have no fear because the Rochester International Airport is up and operating. Pretty quiet in here today and have a short little one hour flight out to the city of "brotherly love" where I hope to meet some lovely brothers in my 45 minute layover there. Didn't get any sleep last night due to packing and just getting ready for the trip. I'm sure there is a lot of stuff till at the casa that I will realize is gone when I start riding, hopefully it's not my bike or wallet. Buzzed up the hair this morning and feeling a lot more arrow dynamic.

Last day in school

Schools out for summer dan-dunt schools out for ever. Today was the last day I'll be in the classroom till next school year. Did some cleaning up and reflecting on the past year and there were so many great things that occurred in the class and there is still so much I can do to become a better educator. I want to thank the awesome kids that made this the best year of teaching I have ever had. Thank you to the parents who were very patient with me this year and thank you sooooo much to the staff that were there to offer guidance and support my first year at Northside. I hope everyone has a great summer and keeps reading the blog and spreading joy wherever you go!!
Cheers
