Into Glacier

I woke up in the morning and no ghosts had attacked me outside the abandoned house, so I was happy. The house was beautiful and I was surprised it was empty, looks like the builders just ran out of money. I set off into town and found a state park where I washed up a little bit and tried to clean the clothes up a bit as well. I hung out in the park for a few hours waiting to hear from my friend, Vinny, who I know from my summer in Maine, he now lives in Missoula, MT. Unfortunately he couldn't make it out, so I headed for the park. It was only about 25 miles to the park and it was a beautiful ride in the foothills of the Rockies.

I made it to the park and looked for the first campsite I could find. All of the sites were full, so I was going to have to ask some people if they wouldn't mind sharing (something I would have done anyway, save some $ and meet new people). I rode down one of the camping roads and saw two guys unloading their motorcycles, so I asked "would you mind if I shared the site with you" they replied with a "totally, come on in" so I pulled in and introduced myself. There were also two women at the site as well and they were also on motorcycle. It was crazy how it worked, there ended up being 6 of us all together and everyone was on motorcycle (except me of course) and the two guys were the only ones who knew each other prior to that campsite. We were from California, Arizona, Oregon, Illinois, Germany and NY (me of course).

I set up camp and walked down to the lake to take a swim (bath) and then it started to rain. They totally need the rain out here, so I wasn't too mad and my tent was already set up, the rain didn't last too long. We hung out that night just playing the ukulele and singing some songs around the campfire. We went to bed and were all awoken around 2am when someone in the campground was honking their horn. People thought it was campers warning other campers of bears, but I think the truck was malfunctioning because the guy apologized afterward, it was pretty funny.
Now with bears in mind, it was easy to get to sleep....
