The ride was probably the best I felt that day because the bike was tuned up and the breakfast was delicious and packed with power. All of the sudden the bike starts going, thump, thump, thump, there is something wrong with the back tire. I pull over and there is a bubble in the tire about the size of a golf ball. I have never seen anything like it before. We take the tube out and the bubble is in the actual tire. We popped the bubble and put the tube back in and rode on, there was a little hole in the tube so we patched that as well.
The ride was smooth until again, thump, thump, thump about 10 miles down the road. I pulled over and again more bubbles and a tire going flat... Just my luck. I decide to hitchhike to the nearest town that has a bike shop, that was Sandpoint, ID about 30 miles down the road.
